Job descriptionDeep technical understanding of data center operations, backend architecture, and Java-based systems. Experience managing infrastructure architectural / Data Center and Data Center migration IT projects and coordinating with development and engineering teams. Ability to partner with infrastructure architects and vendors to execute migration plans effectively. Strong ability to analyze and prioritize technical risks, distinguishing critical issues from minor challenges that could impact execution. Proven experience working on complex system integrations and modernization initiatives. Strong leadership qualities demonstrated through decision-making, stakeholder influence, and team coordination. Experience with Agile methodology (Scrum) and tools like Jira for tracking progress and reporting. Comfortable making decisions under uncertainty and driving clarity in complex technical environments. On-site availability at the data center for hands-on coordination. Bachelor's Degree.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented team player will handle all the resources and coordination from a technical standpoint. You must set and achieve objectives, ensure both top quality and control of the project, handle client and vendor interaction, and act as the subject expert.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of experience leading large-scale technical projects, including infrastructure migrations and modernization efforts.
- Senior-level project management experience with end-to-end delivery : requirements gathering, execution, deployment, monitoring, analysis, and project delivery.
- Strong SQL experience
- Transactional system experience
- Background in enterprise infrastructure modernization or large-scale migrations.
Experience working with legacy systems and mitigating risks during transitions.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Master's Degree. Health Plan or Pension experience
