Position Summary

As a Client Systems Administrator within Epic's Hosting entity, you'll apply your technical savvy and problem-solving skills to integrate Epic's software into our hosting environment. Working across multiple facets of the software, you'll ensure our system is accessible and consistently presented to end users. Your responsibilities include installing, upgrading, troubleshooting software, and collaborating with both customers and Epic's technical teams during system design to translate business needs into technical solutions. Additionally, you'll serve as a knowledgeable Windows system administrator to ensure the successful operation of various software components. While not required, technical knowledge in the following areas is preferred :

• Microsoft Windows Server or Windows OS, including debugging and Sysinternals tools
• Peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, signature pads, and cameras
• Microsoft technologies such as RemoteApp, Active Directory, IIS, and ASP.NET
• Citrix technologies such as XenApp and NetScaler
• VMware technologies such as VMware Horizon View, ESXi, and vSphere
• Development skills in C# / ASP.NET, Object-oriented programming, MVC, JavaScript, and PowerShell
• Networking concepts (load balancing, TCP / IP, DNS) and troubleshooting tools like Wireshark and command line
• Cybersecurity concepts including vulnerability assessment, security controls, confidentiality, and incident recovery
• Certifications from Microsoft, Citrix, VMware, or Cisco are a plus
