Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed packaging studies and propose design solutions.
  • Support cross-functional packaging meetings and geometric analyses efficiently.
  • Verify media routing, propose routing paths, and clipping solutions.
  • Analyze and suggest common solutions to minimize part numbers and maximize part sharing across brands.
  • Perform pre-study packaging analyses, present results, and recommend next steps.
  • Contribute to improving packaging verification processes, methods, and tools.
  • Participate in geometry verification plans (virtual and physical builds, DMU structure) to enhance CAD quality and maturity.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of product development experience, preferably in class 8 heavy-duty truck development.
  • Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing principles and applications.
  • Complete vehicle and / or chassis knowledge is preferred.
  • Extensive experience with PTC Creo Parametric & Creo View.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
  • Product Data Management experience; experience with Volvo PDM system KOLA is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
