We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Little Rock, Arkansas. This role is essential for ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining the integrity of our accounting records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general ledger management, reconciliation, and month-end close processes.

The salary range will be $75,000 - $85,000 DOE along with phenomenal benefits at this well-established and respected company!

Responsibilities :

• Oversee and execute month-end close activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial statements.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Prepare and review journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure cash transactions are accurately recorded.
• Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial processes and reporting.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices, applying them to daily operations.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounting or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and general ledger management.
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and relevant financial regulations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
