Certified Patient Care Technician

The Certified Patient Care Technician assists patients with activities of daily living and selective procedures delegated and communicated by the licensed nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient focused care.

Please note the following important details regarding this position :

  • This is anonsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location.
  • Candidates must reside within commutable distanceof the following office location :
  • Texas : Lubbock
  • Must beavailable to work weekends and holidaysas scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements.
  • Positions specified as "on call / per diem" refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an "as needed basis" to fill in for staff vacancies

Required Qualifications :

  • Coursework / Training : Combined equivalent experience and certification needed for function and level. Or equivalent educ / experience.
  • Current graduate of state approved PCT program (CPCT).
  • Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
  • Upon hire : National Certified Patient Care Technician / Assistant - National Healthcareer Association.
