As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned premises, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and build a welcoming environment. Your role focuses on conducting routine patrols, providing outstanding customer service, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $12.14 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 07 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Tue 07 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Wed 07 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Thur 07 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Fri 07 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures in accordance with site-specific policies and protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help deter unwanted activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report observations as necessary.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and / or the public with inquiries and directions in a professional manner.
  • Support emergency response activities in accordance with protocols when appropriate.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
