LHH is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to join our client, a well-established company, on a contract basis. This role is ideal for a seasoned AP professional who can quickly integrate into a fast-paced environment, requires minimal supervision, and is comfortable handling complex tasks. The ideal candidate will also support audit and year-end projects and bring experience with multi-currency transactions.

Key Responsibilities :

Process, review, and verify a high volume of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies

Enter and reconcile invoices and payments in ERP system

Research and resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies independently

Assist with audit preparation, year-end close, and special projects as assigned

Support the AP Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines

Maintain organized records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes

Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the AP function

Manage transactions involving multiple currencies and international vendors

Qualifications :

5+ years of progressive accounts payable experience, including recent senior-level responsibilities

Demonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal direction

Experience supporting audit and year-end close activities

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with a large ERP system

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

(Preferred) Exposure to multi-currency AP processes

Pay Details : $30.00 to $37.00 per hour
