Director, Development
The Director, Development is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing a comprehensive annual giving program with a strong emphasis on digital grateful patient engagement. This position drives donor acquisition, retention, and upgrade strategies to achieve sustainable revenue growth and deepen community impact.
Key Accountabilities :
- Donor Stewardship and Engagement : designs and implements a comprehensive stewardship program that recognizes, thanks, and engages donors at all giving levels alongside the stewardship team. Builds meaningful relationships through personalized communications, events, and experiences that strengthen donor loyalty and encourage continued investment.
- Grateful Patient Strategy : leads the development and execution of a comprehensive grateful patient program in collaboration with clinical partners to identify and engage potential donors. Ensures thoughtful cultivation practices that connect patient gratitude with philanthropic opportunities in a respectful and mission-driven way.
- Annual Fund Leadership : provides strategic oversight and execution of the annual fund program to ensure year-over-year growth in participation and revenue. Develops and implements targeted campaigns, appeals, and donor segmentation strategies that strengthen the donor pipeline and broaden community support.
Qualifications
Required :
Three years experience in fundraising developmentBachelor DegreeDesired :
