Qualifications
- BS / MS in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- Expertise with any of the following Object-Oriented Languages (OOD) : Java / J2EE, C#, , Python, or sometimes C++.
- Expertise with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication skills : Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Expertise in the Software design / architecture process.
- Expertise with unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Business Acumen - strategic thinking & strategy development.
Building strong teams - set and evangelize vision, facilitative leadership, attract and retain key talent.
Responsibilities
- Lead in gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and implementing them.
- Work with and along various business group within Intuit including MailChimp and Credit Karma on mission teams.
- Act as the technical subject matter expert : Mentor fellow engineers, demonstrate technical expertise, and lead a small team in solving challenging programming and design problems.
- Contribute to hands-on coding approximately 40-60% of the time.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various Intuit teams including product management, various product lines, and / or business units to drive forward results.
- Demonstrate a passion for developing well-architected, elegant solutions.
Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $180,500 244,000.
This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs .
