Forklift Operator, 3rd Shift

Desi Fresh Foods is a leading "cultured" dairy manufacturer with over 23 years of experience. We

produce high-quality and consistent products, which include yogurt (Dahi or Indian, Greek and traditional), smoothies / yogurt drinks, sour cream, and dips from single serve options to food service side. We are currently seeking a skilled Facility Porter to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our facility in Frederick Country, Virginia!

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, load, and unload materials within our warehouse or manufacturing facility.

Two Shift Openings :

Monday through Friday : 11 pm - 7 am

Responsibilities ​

Operate forklift safely and efficiently to transport materials within the warehouse.

Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas.

Stack materials in designated areas, following proper storage procedures.

Inspect forklift for any mechanical issues and report them to maintenance.

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Assist with inventory control and order fulfillment as needed.

Qualifications ​

Previous forklift operating experience required

Combi-Lift / Reticulated Lift experience is a plus

Valid forklift operator certification preferred

Strong safety record

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Attention to detail and accuracy

Good physical condition and stamina
