Property Management Finance Specialist

Job Summary

The Property Management Finance Specialist is responsible for all financial aspects of the company's property portfolio, ensuring fiscal accuracy, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role involves everything from day-to-day accounting and cash flow management to strategic budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, has a strong understanding of property management software and accounting principles, and can effectively communicate complex financial information

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all assigned properties and the portfolio.
• Conduct variance analysis by comparing budgeted income and expenses to actual results, providing detailed commentary for management.
• Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Collaborate with asset managers and property managers to analyze financial data and provide insights for improving portfolio performance.

Qualifications and skills

Education : Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. A Bachelor Degree preferred. CPA designation is preferred.

Experience : A minimum of 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in real estate or property management accounting preferred. Does not have to be licensed.
