As the workforce continues to shift from full-time employees to independent contractors, businesses have been faced with increased informational tax reporting requirements at both the state and federal levels. Zenwork's Tax1099 software enables companies of all sizes to eFile 1099 tax forms and other important tax documents related to their utilization of 3rd party contractors, vendors, and suppliers. Having eFiled 20M tax forms to-date, Zenwork's SaaS platform is focused on streamlining tax compliance and regulatory reporting on behalf of its customers.

Job Overview

Zenwork is seeking a highly motivated and talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Tax1099 sales team. This position will report to the VP of Sales, or Sales Manager, and will be responsible for generating new leads and qualifying them to become potential customers for our sales team. You will work closely with our Account Executives to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and help drive revenue growth for the company.

Location

Our preference is for this position to be in Dallas, TX or Fayetteville, AR, though we are willing to consider a remote arrangement for the right candidate. (Must be located in Central or Eastern Time Zone).

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct research to identify new prospects and generate leads using various tools and resources, including social media, online directories, and databases.
• Engage with prospects through cold calls, emails, and other communication channels to assess their interest in our products and services.
• Qualify leads by asking targeted questions to determine their needs, budget, timeline, and decision-making process.
• Use a CRM system to track and manage leads and ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to develop and execute targeted outreach campaigns and follow-up strategies.
• Provide feedback and insights to the sales team on lead quality, campaign performance, and customer needs and preferences.
