• Work in a 101-bed emergency department with Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center
• Patient ratios typically 4 : 1 for medical patients, up to 7 : 1 for ED behavioral holds
• Every other weekend scheduling requirement - must meet department needs, no block scheduling available
• Float within all sections of the ED (no floating outside of emergency department)
• Work with Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation system
• Tech support available for cardiac monitoring, triage, and internal processing areas
• Unit clerks available during day and night shifts
• Required to maintain AIDET standards and respectful patient experience throughout visits
• Must update patient boards and keep patients informed throughout their visit
• Required certifications before start date : ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience with at least 1 year in emergency room setting required
• High-volume emergency department experience preferred (>
