We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Metrology Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for ensuring the precision, accuracy, and reliability of measurement systems. You will be working with a variety of high-tech equipment and tools, and your expertise in calibration, instrumentation, and equipment performance testing will be highly valued. The successful candidate will be well-versed in ISO 9001, AS9100, and ANSI standards, and have a strong understanding of precision measurement tools and Fluke instruments. Responsibilities :
1. Perform calibration and adjustment of measurement equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
2. Conduct equipment performance testing to identify any issues and implement corrective actions.
3. Use precision measurement tools and Fluke instruments for various engineering tasks.
4. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, and ANSI standards in all metrology operations.
5. Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of measurement systems and processes.
6. Develop and implement metrology procedures and standards to improve efficiency and accuracy.
7. Troubleshoot and repair issues with automatic test equipment.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
9. Continually monitor and analyze measurement data to identify trends and potential issues.
10. Collaborate with other engineers and professionals on projects and initiatives.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a metrology or similar role.
3. Proficiency in calibration, instrumentation, and equipment performance testing.
4. Experience with automatic test equipment and electrical calibration.
5. In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and ANSI standards.
6. Familiarity with precision measurement tools and Fluke instruments.
7. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
10. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
