Assistant Project Manager

Harper Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our project at Los Angeles Trade Tech College located in Los Angeles, California. Responsibilities

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the on-site Project Manager with the daily coordination of construction activities. Key responsibilities include :

• Assist the Project Manager in planning, organizing, and staffing field operations.
• Support the development and implementation of project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Attend and document project meetings with clients, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Track project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports under the supervision of the Project Manager.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for timely delivery of materials and services.
• Help ensure compliance with safety standards, contract requirements, and DSA guidelines.
• Identify and communicate potential risks, scope changes, or schedule delays to the Project Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support successful project delivery.
