This position is in the North Bay area...cities including Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Marin, Petaluma, Novato, San Rafael, Mill Valley, St Helena, Napa, Calistoga and surrounding cities. Typically, each day would be at 1 account...but occasionally it could be more than 1 store for smaller resets. There may be times that this person will need to drive outside of the North Bay area depending on reset needs.
Description:
1. Large scale rearrangement of a store s products by stocking or restocking a product according to a new schematic.
2. Tearing down and rebuilding whole sections of the store.
3. Reset activities include but limited to: removing items from shelf, moving shelves, building fixtures, reorganizing the products according to the schematic provided, replacing shelf tags, filling in new products.
4. Must be able to follow a planogram or diagram of new shelf or display.
5. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for a long period of time, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb or balance.
6. Communicate effectively with store personnel and reset counterparts.
7. Ability to implement retail schematics and merchandising materials as assigned.
8. Must be able to drive to accounts throughout Northern California.
9. Possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state car registration and insurance, and an acceptable driving record.
10. Must be able to drive to accounts throughout Northern California. Mostly in North Bay area (Santa Rosa, Rohnert Park, Marin, etc).
11. Lift and carry a 45+ pound case of product on a repetitive basis.
12. Work flexible hours which include early morning (i.e. 2:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. start times), evenings, and/or weekends.
13. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred Characteristics/Credentials:
1. Bachelor's Degree and or equivalent related experience such as:
2. Merchandiser/Route Sales Experience.
3. Restaurant/Bartending/Hospitality Skills.
4. Wine/Industry Knowledge to include basic understanding of distribution, wine varietals, and leading spirit categories.
