About this Role :
Join our dynamic Business Development team at Gartner, where you'll play a crucial role in expanding our global market presence. As a Business Development Executive, you'll strategically target and acquire new clients, building trust-based relationships with C-level executives to align our offerings with their mission-critical priorities. You will manage the full sales cycle – from identifying prospects to closing deals and transitioning new accounts to our account management team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage with Large Enterprise prospects in your designated territory—targeting organizations with over $1 billion in annual revenue. Whether you’re working with completely new prospects or existing clients, your efforts will drive significant growth.
What You Will Do :
Pursue and secure new business opportunities with organizations new to Gartner, from initial outreach to closing sales, focusing on Large Enterprises.
Convert prospects into active Gartner clients, negotiating effectively to transition new accounts to the account management team.
Continuously build and maintain a pipeline of high-quality opportunities, meeting your sales metrics and ensuring key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
Take ownership of your quota responsibility for your assigned territory.
Manage complex, high-revenue sales across diverse business environments.
Conduct forecasting and account planning monthly, quarterly, and annually.
What You Will Need :
A minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B sales, preferably in complex and intangible sales environments.
Strong track record in business development or new-client acquisition roles.
Experience engaging with and influencing C-level executives.
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to effectively manage and forecast multiple sales processes.
Willingness to travel as necessary.
