Royalty Accountant

Insight Global is looking for a Royalty Accountant to join one of the largest gaming publishers. The Royalty Accountant will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing royalty data, calculating outbound royalties owed to partners, and preparing journal entries for accruals and reconciliations. They work extensively in Excel to manage large datasets, ensure revenue and expense matching, and maintain accurate royalty schedules. The role involves collaborating with Legal, Finance, and Content Strategy teams, supporting monthly close and forecasting processes, and preparing audit documentation to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies. This position is located four days onsite in Irvine, CA. Skills and Requirements :

• BA Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years in Accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP policies
• Experience with journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Experience in analyzing and reporting royalty data at month-end
• Forecasting and management reporting related to royalties
• Proficient in Excel
• Great communication
• Ability to be on-site in Irvine
