We are looking for a full-time Account Manager to preferably work out of our Irving , TX Corporate Office.

Job Summary- Account Manager

The Account Manager will prospect new clients for national business opportunities while maintaining a business relationship with existing clients to encourage repeat business.

They will be responsible for providing estimated budgets that support the client’s vision while maintaining a profitability threshold of 45% for each event while working to reach the annual revenue performance goals established by INSPIRE.

Summary of essential job functions- Account Manager

  • Contact national sales lead sources to include, but not limited to :
  • Convention and Visitors Bureau’s calendar
  • Internet searches
  • Invoicing
  • Monitor in-market client lists to ensure information is kept up to date
  • Operate seamlessly with both Sales and Operations
  • Demonstrate evidence of organization and accountability in position
  • Uphold excellent customer sales and service skills under pressure
  • Articulate in communicating ideas, concepts, and directions clearly and concisely
  • Maintain grooming to company standards and to the standards of our clients
  • Maintain excellence in customer service, organization, and problem-solving
  • Establish credit accounts for events invoicing over $10,000
  • Work with Accounts Receivable on invoicing
  • Create Credit Memos when appropriate
  • Complete a Job Cost on all events invoicing over $5,000 pre-tax
  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • A College Degree is preferred but will consider equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in a sales capacity in the AV, event, hotel, or related field

Skills and Specifications

  • Experience in telemarketing sales a plus
  • Experience in strategic sales account management
  • Shows potential in creative and financial skills necessary for career advancement
