Position

Position Overview : We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage and service a book of commercial insurance clients, focusing on strong relationship management, timely renewals, and responsive client service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for commercial insurance, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to client success.

Work Arrangement

Work Arrangement : This is a full-time remote position supporting our main office in South Windsor, CT, as well as all Newberry locations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned commercial lines accounts, providing responsive, professional service.
• Market client accounts to negotiate and secure the most appropriate insurance coverage for both new and renewal business.
• Manage accounts by responding to inquiries, explaining coverages and premiums, facilitating policy or billing changes, and assisting with the claims process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, binders, and endorsements.
• Research and resolve coverage issues, billing discrepancies, and other service concerns in a timely manner.
• Review policies, endorsements, contracts, and certificates of insurance for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain accurate and current records in the Agency Management System, including suspense management.
• Stay informed on carrier underwriting appetite, pricing trends, and industry developments.
