Senior Software Engineer, SES2024YZ

Senior Software Engineer, Asset Allocation Engineering, FactSet Research Systems Inc., Norwalk, CT : Manages a team of software engineers or projects within the Asset Allocation Engineering department.

• Duties will include : Review product requirement documents; problem solving and working on high-level (operational or architectural) issues to ensure effectiveness of products under your direct management;
• implements and tracks development timelines, and negotiates feature sets with development leads and product teams; sets goals and mentors development of ongoing projects;
• provides guidance and direction to team on software design and implementation; reviews code changes and submissions; presents technical & operational issues to senior management and sets deadlines and priorities for team members;

helps to coordinate recruiting, training and new hire onboarding for immediate team.

Minimum Requirements : Bachelor's degree, or higher, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science or related technical field and 2 years of software engineering industry experience working with the following technologies : JavaScript, Vue, HTML, CSS, SQL, SAS.

Must also have full life cycle experience.

Basic pay range is one hundred twenty thousand dollars to one hundred fifty thousand dollars per year for full -time employment (Mon.
