About The Position

Job Title : MS / Tele RN

Experience : 2+ years of clinical nursing experience

License : Active RN license in Ohio

Certifications : BCLS and IV certification

Must-Have : EPIC experience preferred

Description :

Start and manage IVs.

Administer medications safely.

Monitor vitals and patient responses.

Educate patients on treatments and self-care.

Collaborate with the care team on patient plans.

Use EMR for charting.

Float to lower acuity units if needed.

Follow hospital policies and maintain patient safety.

Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.

Daily census is approximately 23.

Unit supports various interdisciplinary services including physical therapy and social services.

Common patient diagnoses encompass general medical issues, opioid abuse, organ failure, and behavior issues.

Unit performs standard med-surg procedures including placements of foleys, PICC lines, IVs, and chest tubes.

Essential skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.

Patient ratios are approximately 4 : 1.

Weekend coverage is required for 3-4 weekend days per month.

Pre-approved time off is permitted.
