Key Responsibilities :
Assess call situations effectively to determine appropriate responses following Paramedic protocols.Utilize advanced medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen delivery, suction devices, and intravenous fluids to deliver top-notch care.Communicate with patients and their families, offering assurance and information about the care being administered.Lead the Paramedic team by managing the scene and the unit when necessary.Drive the ambulance in response to emergencies.Collaborate professionally with allied health staff, public safety personnel, and fellow Paramedics.Additional Responsibilities :
Engage in community programs to foster strong relationships and enhance AMR's public image.Minimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Valid State Paramedic License.Current State Driver's License.BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications.Driving record compliant with company policy.Successful completion of the Physical Agility Test.Preferred prior healthcare work experience.Included Benefits :
