Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading a variety of projects in a fast-paced and innovative environment. You will apply sound judgment and established project management methods to ensure successful outcomes. This role is an important member of a team that collaborates with clinicians, business leaders, and IT professionals to support the Tiger Institute and MU Health Care strategic initiatives.

In this position, you will create and maintain project documentation, including business case requirements, project charters, timelines, communication plans, issue logs, and risk registers. You will drive projects through implementation, ensuring that milestones are achieved. Working with stakeholders, you will define project requirements, scope, resources, budgets, and timelines. You will also coordinate with vendors and support assessment, selection, and contracting processes as needed. Additionally, you will track progress, monitor risks, and ensure accountability by escalating issues appropriately. Strong organizational and prioritization skills are essential, as you will manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously to keep all assignments moving forward effectively. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation. 11 paid holidays; paid sick leave : 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours; paid parental leave; adoption assistance; Employee Stock Purchase Plan; financial planning and group legal; voluntary benefits including auto, homeowner and pet insurance.
