We are an established physician owned nephrology practice seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our team! Fredericksburg Nephrology Associates, Inc. is currently staffed by 10 providers and we welcome the addition to our team. FNA offers a competitive salary and benefits including malpractice, CME reimbursement, paid time off, 11 paid company holidays and 401K. Full-time & part-time options available for this position. Primary Duties :
- Treating dialysis patients and perform hemodialysis rounds in our area dialysis units including access management, anemia management, bone mineral metabolism, risk adjustment coding and treating other aspects of kidney disease
- Directing and monitoring patient care in hemodialysis centers located in Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, Garrisonville, King George, Bowling Green, Lake of the Woods and Louisa
- Ordering and following up on lab and imaging studies
- Treating outpatient chronic kidney disease patients at stage 1- 5 as directed by supervising physician
- Chronic kidney disease education
- Hospital follow up visits, advance careplanning, and new patient (outpatient) visits.
We require the following :
Nurse Practitioner applicants must have a Diploma from an accredited school of nursing and possess a valid Nurse Practitioner License.Possession of or eligibility to be granted, a valid state license, DEA and NPI.Current CPR / BLS certifications.Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving, criminal, employment reference, education, and social securityQualifications :
