Job Description :

• ProtoMake serves as the genesis for novel concepts. Our dedicated teams furnish all requisite elements for the development and assessment of the vanguard technologies that underpin products within Facebook Reality Labs.
• This encompasses mechanical and electrical design, precision machining, additive manufacturing, casting, molding, assembly, laser processing, and repair.
• We operate with alacrity and seek individuals who are driven to identify rapid and efficient methodologies for materializing concepts into tangible realities, frequently involving complex geometries and stringent timelines.
• We are deeply integrated into the hardware development lifecycle, collaborating closely with the product design and industrial design teams to apply our specialized expertise to their intricate challenges.
• We take immense pride in transcending the role of a mere prototype production service for our clientele.
• This position is fundamental to the operational support provided to our collaborators.
• The incumbent will engage directly in the operation of industrial-grade CNC machining equipment, execute part programming utilizing standardized CAM templates, maintain communication with customers, and ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
• Given that CNC machining constitutes a critical component of our prototyping services, we are seeking candidates with a foundation in digital design coupled with an intrinsic interest in fabrication.
• We are committed to providing comprehensive training in the specific requirements of the role to the appropriate candidate.
