FLSA Status : Hourly Non-exempt position

Benefits eligibility :   60 days after hire date

Full Time

Reports to : Project Manager and / or Superintendent

Job Purpose :   To complete carpentry projects as needed

Job Duties :

• Completes requested carpentry projects including constructing items needed, refinishing products, creating, and building requested projects, and other carpentry duties as assigned.
• Requirement for operating electric saws, electric drills, measuring tapes, squares, sledgehammers, power mowers, edgers, tractors and other mechanical equipment
• Performs carpentry or installation work on job sites
• Measure, cut, and build wooden forms for concrete work
• Transports supplies and other items as needed and / or requested
• Ensures safety of self and others around while performing all tasks
• Other duties as assigned

Skills / Qualifications :   Current Driver’s License. Extensive carpentry experience.  Four or more years’ experience in a maintenance capacity. Experience in working with others on a team. Attention to detail, initiative, and reliability.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to extreme hot and cold weather conditions.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  The employee will come into close contact with heavy machinery and equipment, performing work outdoors, and being able to withstand varying temperatures.

Work Hours :    Work hours are generally a regular work week of 40 hours; however, exact hours to work each day may vary as required.

Compensation details : 1-18 Hourly Wage
