Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Understands and ensures compliance to health, safety and environmental requirements and regulations as applicable to the laundry operation.

Tribal, State and Federal)

• Ensures that the delivery truck is kept clean and maintains a driving and preventive maintenance log.
• Deliver products, load and unload products from your truck, and drive to and from our customers and to the preferred delivery destination(s).
• Communicates with all customers and gives updates when linens are delayed.
• Listens to customers perspective and responds promptly in a respectful manner.
• Addresses customers in a pleasant, courteous, and respectful manner.
• Communication is succinct, concise and to the point.
• Abides all safety regulations. Uses safety equipment where required. Uses all equipment, machinery, cleaning products and materials issued strictly according to the proper methods and or instructions.
• Keeps all customers information confidential. .
• Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record.
• Ensures control / protection of company assets.
• Ensures compliance with Kalispel Tribe of Indians, Internal Controls, and KTEA Policies and Procedures.

Skills

• Must have verbal ability to discuss job requirements and problems with the laundry manager.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with department head and team members.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to operate a commercial vehicle.

Other Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Kalispel Work Permit.
• Valid drivers license (CDL Preferred).
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Hepatitis A & B vaccinations.
• Available and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
