Production Coordinator (Social)

Top Global Tech Company Seeking Social Production Coordinator

Remote (east or west coast preferred)

We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Social Coordinator to manage the backend operations of social content production and publishing across multiple platforms. This role functions as a project manager within a fast-paced creative environment, supporting the delivery of hundreds of content pieces annually-from pitch through publication.

The ideal candidate thrives in deadline-driven environments, has strong communication and project management skills, and understands the nuances of social media workflows. You'll collaborate with account leads, social media managers, and producers to ensure content is finalized, reviewed, and published on time and in alignment with strategic goals.

• Responsibilities :
• Oversee daily production tasks including pre-production planning, shoot logistics, and post-production timelines
• Manage backend operations for social content publishing, including scheduling, metadata entry, and platform coordination
• Ensure content is finalized and ready for publication at least one week in advance of scheduled posting
• Coordinate pitch processes and review cycles with account leads and social media managers
• Track and manage contracts, licensing, releases, purchase orders, and payment workflows
• Maintain editorial calendars and ensure data accuracy across platforms
• Support transcription, translation, and media logistics
• Manage equipment inventory and rentals
• Archive and QA final media assets
• Assist with media operations and community workflows
• Soon to take on direct publishing responsibilities across social platforms
• Ensure content aligns with strategic plans and has been properly vetted before release
• Collaborate with producers to ensure cross-training and coverage across projects
• Delegate responsibilities based on individual experience and background while maintaining consistent functional expectations
• Qualifications :
• 4+ years of production experience, ideally in social media or editorial video
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders under tight deadlines
• Experience across formats including short-form, documentary, narrative, and branded content
• Familiarity with licensing, contracts, and legal coordination
• Strong project management and communication skills
• Comfortable working with creative teams, editors, and animators
• Proficient in social platforms, publishing tools, and project management software
• Able to uphold editorial standards and deliver high-quality content with limited resources

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 / hr.
