We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Permanent Dentist to join our dynamic healthcare team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned dentist who is passionate about providing comprehensive oral care and educating patients on the importance of dental health. The successful candidate will have a patient-focused approach and a commitment to staying updated on the latest advancements in the industry.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Dentist, your key responsibilities will include :
1. Diagnosing and providing appropriate dental treatment to patients, including regular cleanings, root canals, surgical extractions, implants, and cosmetic dentistry.
2. Educating patients and parents of patients on maintaining proper oral health.
3. Ensuring the safe administration of anesthetics.
4. Monitoring growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
5. Performing surgical procedures on the teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
6. Maintaining patients' dental records.
7. Managing a dental team consisting of dental assistants and dental hygienists.
8. Communicating with patients regarding their dental health and treatment plan.
9. Keeping up-to-date with the newest developments in the dental field and seeking further training when needed.
10. Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
11. Maintaining a clean, well-organized, and stocked dental office.
Qualifications :
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications :
1. Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from a school accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) and American Dental Association.
2. A state license and malpractice insurance.
3. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a clinical setting.
4. Strong knowledge of comprehensive dental services, including cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery, and endodontics.
5. Excellent patient management skills and a strong desire to educate patients about dental health.
6. Proficiency in the use of dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Strong work ethic and professional demeanor.
9. Ability to work as part of a team and to lead a team.
10. Availability to attend evening or weekend events as needed.
11. Commitment to continuing education and professional growth.
12. A flexible and positive approach to work.
