Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Training Coordinator to join our organization in Decatur, GA. The ideal candidate will support workforce development initiatives by coordinating, facilitating, and enhancing training programs for staff. This role ensures the delivery of engaging, high-quality learning experiences that promote professional growth, organizational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. The Training Coordinator will manage logistics, assist with content development, deliver both in-person and virtual training sessions, and serve as a key point of contact for all training-related activities.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or related field, OR 1-3 years of experience in training, HR, or administrative coordination
- Strong facilitation, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Office, and virtual platforms such as Zoom or Teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs
- Willingness to obtain relevant trainer certifications (preferred or required)
- Ability to work effectively with others and demonstrate strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail in record-keeping and reporting
Responsibilities :
Plan, schedule, and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and onboarding classesFacilitate in-person and virtual training programs with professionalism and engagementLead required training courses such as First Aid / CPR and Defensive DrivingManage logistics including room reservations, technology setup, and participant communicationMaintain and update the organization’s training calendar and records across LMS platformsTrack attendance and training completion, ensuring compliance and certification accuracyAssist in creating training materials, manuals, presentations, and communication resourcesSupport continuing education events and related logisticsCollaborate with departmental leaders to identify training needs and develop tailored solutionsCollect feedback, evaluate training effectiveness, and recommend improvementsTroubleshoot technical issues related to training sessions and systemsBenefits :
