WATER PRODUCTION - Plant Operator I

Position : Plant Operator I

Water Production Superintendent

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

Pay : $15.05 per hour

DESCRIPTION

The Water Production Plant Operator role I involves monitoring, regulating, and adjusting equipment to ensure the efficient and safe treatment of water before discharge. The operator will work within established guidelines to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and ensure the proper functioning of all treatment processes.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Grade "D" Water Operator License issued by the Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) or ability to obtain within 6 months of eligibility.
• Ability to obtain a class C Water Operator License is required within nine (9) months of eligibility.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License at time of placement.
