Commercial Real Estate Paralegal

The Taft law firm is searching for a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal for our Washington DC office (currently operating as Morris, Manning & Martin). This position will support partners and associates in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria :

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Paralegal certificate preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of commercial real estate experience, preferably in a law firm environment
• Strong work ethic
• Sound judgment, decision-making and reasoning abilities
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

The Firm offers a very competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, 401K and PTO. A background check is required. The salary range for this position is $90,000-115,000 / year. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted information based on work experience, education, and / or skill level.
