Job description

MediPro is seeking a travel nurse RN Infusion for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Specialty : Infusion
  • Discipline : RN
  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Duration : 13 weeks
  • 40 hours per week
  • Shift : 8 hours
  • Employment Type : Travel
  • Parking provided
  • Dress code : Red scrubs

Qualifications :

  • Outpatient infusion experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Friendly and calm demeanor

    • Top Responsibilities :

  • Rooming patients
  • Taking vital signs
  • Starting IVs (many patients have difficult vein access)
  • Administering IV Magnesium to 5–10 patients daily
  • Administering IV pushes for pain and / or nausea
  • Administering IM or SQ injections
  • Accessing central lines

    • Required Certifications :

  • Active RN license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification (preferred, not required)

    • Clinical Onboarding Requirements (Per Contract)

    Flu Vaccine :

  • Full vaccination with the current season's flu vaccine is required during flu season.
  • Required November 1st – May 30th.
  • The facility accepts signed personal or medical exemptions.
  • Note : Masks are required for individuals who choose exemption.

    • COVID-19 Vaccine :

  • Vaccination is not required, but is strongly recommended.

    • MediPro Job ID #872-16732. Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
