Job description

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a dedicated, licensed Physician to join their Primary Care team in Brooklyn.

About the Opportunity :

  • Schedule : Monday to Friday
  • Hours : 9am to 5pm, no call

Responsibilities : The Physician will :

  • Complete initial assessment and evaluation of new patients
  • Provide ongoing monitoring of patient's medical condition and provides the treatment
  • Order prescription medications and diagnostic procedures
  • Authorize and coordinate all specialty and ancillary services
  • Provide in-service staff development and clinical teaching of trainees rotating through the Medical practice
  • Participate in the development of such programs as preventive health screening, immunization programs, professional community outreach, quality assurance, etc.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team activities, including case conferences, hospitalization reports, and family and team meetings
  • Complete other duties as assigned

    • Qualifications :

  • Active New York State MD license
  • Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
