About the Role
The Company is on the lookout for a dynamic Associate Vice President to enhance our Commercial Underwriting and Operations. This pivotal role entails overseeing the entire customer value stream, ensuring an exceptional journey from sales through to claims processing.
As a key leader, you'll bring your substantial experience in commercial underwriting and your deep understanding of the insurance landscape. You will be dedicated to creating a collaborative, results-oriented work environment while setting clear performance objectives and fostering team member growth.
Your leadership will focus on cultural transformation and a customer-centric approach, developing and executing robust strategies that ensure compliance and effective change management initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a proven history of delivering customer-focused solutions, strategic business planning, and leading large, cross-functional initiatives. A comprehensive understanding of customer service techniques, insurance products, and underwriting philosophies is crucial.
This role balances technical underwriting duties with essential cultural integration, requiring a strategic vision for enhancing the customer value stream. Responsibilities will include driving process improvements, establishing compliance practices, and developing functional strategies across sales support, customer service, underwriting, and claims.
Expertise in business process design and management will be vital, along with the capability to guide problem resolution processes and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
