Description Chief Construction is seeking a Quality Control and Closeout Manager to join the Chief Team. This position is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance and punchlist processes on construction projects. This role ensures that all work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Job Responsibilities :
oDevelop and implement quality control procedures and protocols for construction sites. oConduct regular inspections of construction sites to identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement.oEnsure that construction projects adhere to quality standards, regulations, and client specifications.oReview and approve shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications.oManage and track inspection reports, logs, and other quality documentation. oTrain and educate construction personnel on quality documentation.oCollaborate with clients, contractors, and engineers to resolve quality-related issues.oMonitor and assess the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Closeout Management : oCreate and maintain punchlists for construction projects, ensuring all items are addressed before project completion.oCompile Operation and Maintenance manuals for owners.oMaintain and manage the warranty log and walkthroughs for construction projects.oCoordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to complete closeout items.oConduct final inspections to verify that all closeout items have been resolved to the client’s satisfaction. oDocument and report on the status of punchlist items and overall project quality. Qualifications and Skill Requirements : Education : Bachelor’s degree preferred Experience : 3-5 years’ experience in construction projects and quality control.
