Key Responsibilities Review and resolve denied medical claims due to coding errors Analyze denial reasons and manage appeals while collaborating with various departments Assign accurate codes for cardiovascular diagnoses and procedures using an electronic encoder application Required Qualifications High school diploma Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiovascular professional coding Certification as CCS (AHIMA) or CPC, COC, CCC, CIRCC (AAPC) Proficiency in coding for various cardiovascular procedures and services Basic computer skills and ability to work in multiple systems
