Position Summary : Terray is currently seeking a creative and experienced Automation Software Engineer for the laboratory automation team. As an integral member of our platform team, the candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining the software systems that power our wet-lab automation. The position will report to and work in partnership with the Sr. Director of Automation to design, develop, and maintain custom applications in support of laboratory automation across the organization.

The core responsibilities of this job will be :

• Application level programming (Python, C# / .NET, Java).
• Interfacing with commercial software systems via APIs / SDKs.
• Implementing custom scripting within vendor-provided laboratory control software
• Creation of device drivers for laboratory system integration.
• Maintenance and extension of currently implemented code for systems control, imaging and data acquisition.
• Implementing the integration of laboratory platforms with information managements systems (LIMS)

Compensation Details : $ 120,000 - 192,000 (annually) depending on experience; participation in the Company's option plan; 3% retirement safe harbor contribution; fully-paid medical, dental, vision, life and disability benefits.
