Our client, a forefront innovator in the production of organic packaging solutions, is currently seeking an adept Sales Account Manager to reinforce their commitment to sales excellence, product distribution, and the broadening of their business footprint in the life sciences field.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will be instrumental in driving sales, uncovering new business opportunities, and fostering long-term relationships with a diverse clientele.

This role demands strategic sales acumen and a thorough understanding of organic packaging solutions, aimed at ensuring customer satisfaction and propelling business growth.

Focus :

  • Propel sales initiatives to meet and exceed quarterly sales targets, boosting company profitability.
  • Forge new client relationships while nurturing and expanding existing accounts, specifically within the life sciences sector.
  • Regularly visit and engage with customers, presenting tailored product solutions and conducting training sessions.
  • Develop and execute key account strategies for top clients, aligning sales efforts with broader business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
  • Maintain disciplined account management, including inventory, accounts receivable monitoring, and pipeline management.
  • Contribute to sales team meetings, pipeline reviews, and strategic planning sessions.
  • Secure long-term contracts and supply agreements, enhancing business relationships and customer loyalty.

Skill Set :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field, with a preference for a background in life sciences or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of sales experience in Life Sciences, organic packaging, or closely related industries.
  • Experience managing a book of business / territory of $5MM or more.
  • Strong business insight, capable of making decisions that positively affect profitability and align with strategic objectives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools preferred.
  • Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage complex customer scenarios.
  • Superior interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record of success and an energetic approach to sales.
  • Demonstrates a strong drive for success, a humble approach to collaboration, and high emotional intelligence.
  • Exhibits a stable career history with a preference for long-term commitments.
  • Comfortable joining and contributing to a company in its growth and development stages.
  • Preferably located East of Mississippi.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50%.
