Cutting Edge Fabrication seeks a highly motivated individual with quality inspection experience for our custom welding and fabrication operations.
In this job, you will be responsible for the following :
- Verify raw material compliance.
- Engage and understand customer expectations.
- Inspect welds to AWS and ASME standards.
- Fabrication inspection to print specification.
- Ensure the highest quality level of products and services.
- Confirm products meet legal and safety standards.
- Continuous production monitoring for improvement.
- Generate all quality, process, and procedure documentation.
- Report quality standard issues to upper management.
- Oversee ISO audits.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements :
- Familiar with AWS and ASME welding code knowledge.
- Excellent math skills, including trigonometry and geometry.
- Blueprint reading, including GD&T.
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is a plus.
- Data analysis and statistical aptitude.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift and overhead crane experience.
- Must have good attendance and be on time.
- Embrace and demonstrate company values.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
