Are you an energetic and enthusiastic Education Specialist or Special Education Teacher ready to make a difference in Richmond, CA?

Celebrations Speech Group is hiring for an in-person, school-based role for the 2024-2025 school year. Work with a collaborative team in an inclusive charter school, managing a caseload of elementary or middle school students.

Responsibilities :

• Provide intensive, individualized instruction for students with special needs.
• Use diverse teaching methods to foster student engagement.
• Administer and score assessments and standardized tests.
• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Collaborate with service providers and coordinate special needs evaluations.
• Create modified curriculum and train key stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate special education records.
• Ensure students receive services as per their IEPs and track progress.
• Support inclusive education through co-teaching, push-in, pull-out, and one-on-one support.
• Work with the Director of Special Education to align programs and services.

Qualifications :

• Valid CA Education Specialist and / or Special Education Teaching Credential (California CTC).
• Preferred : 1+ year of special education experience.
• Ability to provide direct, in-person services to students.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and technological skills.
• Strong knowledge of special education law and policy.

Compensation :

Competitive annual compensation : $70,000.00 - $105,000.00.
