What You'll Do :

Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of students, staff, and visitors.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.

Monitor activity and report any suspicious behavior or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel.

Collaborate with campus departments and local law enforcement when necessary, following established protocols.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Support a welcoming and secure environment for all persons on campus by demonstrating professionalism and integrity at all times.

Minimum Requirements :

Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

Possess a Level III armed certification if required by Texas state regulations.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Handcuffing certification is preferred.

X-ray screening experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
