Contingency :This role is contingent upon Everblue winning the contract award.Are you a relationship-driven professional with experience managing technical projects in disaster recovery or business continuity? As an Account Manager – Disaster Recovery with Everblue, you will serve as the primary liaison between the state agency client and Everblue’s internal project and software teams. You will oversee client communications, manage performance expectations, and ensure alignment between technical deliverables and client needs. This role requires a balance of program management, stakeholder engagement, and operational oversight to guarantee successful implementation and long-term sustainability of the state’s disaster recovery initiative.
In This Role, You Will :
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the state agency, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear, consistent communication.
- Coordinate between Everblue’s project managers, business analysts, and software development team to align project goals and deliverables.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and milestones; monitor progress to ensure successful execution.
- Support the implementation and ongoing optimization of the disaster recovery software solution developed by Everblue’s technical team.
- Identify client needs and risks early, facilitating proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Develop and present project updates, reports, and metrics to both internal leadership and client stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal disaster recovery standards and performance requirements.
- Support contract management activities, including task order tracking, performance monitoring, and deliverable submissions.
- Represent Everblue at client meetings, workshops, and disaster recovery planning sessions.
- Contribute to team training, process documentation, and quality assurance efforts to maintain consistency across projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, information systems, emergency management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, client engagement, or program management within disaster recovery, resilience, or emergency management programs.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client expectations in technical or government environments.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery frameworks, standards, and methodologies (e.g., FEMA, NIST, ISO, or CBCP principles).
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and software implementation processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent platforms).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, balance client demands, and deliver high-quality results under pressure.
