A healthcare network in Westchester County is currently seeking a licensedGastroenterologist for a promising position at one of their facilities in White Plains.

About the Opportunity :

Setting : 100% Outpatient

Schedule : Monday to Friday

Hours : Standard business

EMR : Epic

Call Schedule : Shared phone call

Responsibilities :

TheGastroenterologist will be responsible for :

Examining & obtaining medical history and treating acute &chronic illnesses

Ordering, performing,and interpreting diagnostic tests

Creatingtreatment plansand involvingpatients &family members in those plans

Initiatingappropriate specialty referrals

Collaboratingon the improvement in care delivery and service with management, other Physicians and staff

Working with Practice Management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements

Performing procedures at theEndoscopy Center

Qualifications :

Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York

Board Eligible / Certified inGastroenterology
