Responsibilities :

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations
• Manage quarterly and annual tax provisions and estimated payments
• Research and resolve complex tax issues; provide strategic recommendations
• Support tax planning initiatives to minimize liabilities and optimize financial strategies
• Assist with IRS and state audits, including gathering and presenting requested documentation
• Stay current on changes to tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company / clients
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
• Mentor and support junior staff when needed
