Production Support Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a Production Support I for a 12-month Contract job with a client in Techwood- Atlanta, GA. The Associate will also be required to maintain all asset retention policies as described in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and instructed by management in order to keep the system operating efficiently. This position will always defer to the Media Asset Technicians, Senior Media Asset Technicians, and Manager when removing assets permanently from the Media Asset Management (MAM) system.

The associate will be supporting a 24 / 7 operation. Applicant will be required to work various shifts on a rotating schedule that will include nights, weekends, and holidays. General hours of coverage are 9 am to 3 am. Applicant must be prepared to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with many new challenges in an all-digital production facility. Applicant must also have an eye for attention to detail, as there are multiple, small technical aspects that must be examined within the daily duties.

Pay Range : $27 / hr-$30 / hr on W2. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Must Have Skills / Requirements

Prior non-linear edit experience (sports preferred)

1-2+ years of experience

Media file re-wrap and transcoding familiarity.

1-2+ years of experience

HD Video production and post-production skills. Operational knowledge of Non-Linear Editing systems.

1-2+ years of experience; Adobe, Final Cut Pro, Avid, Quantel, etc.

Nice to Have Skills / Preferred Requirements

EVS asset management system knowledge is a plus

Team and player knowledge of the NBA, NHL, MLB, and NCAA is helpful.

Interest in media management.

Soft Skills :

• Digital media and encoding format familiarity.

Technology Requirements :

Prior non-linear edit experience (sports preferred)

Media file re-wrap and transcoding familiarity.

Education / Certifications

College degree in Computer Science, Video Production, or similar
