The Role Our Producers are the driving force behind Casual. It's a role that straddles both account management and day-to-day production.

Producers drive projects forward - filling in the blanks between clients wanting a video and them getting a video. Our Producers are problem solvers; on hand to find solutions for creative, production, and resourcing challenges as they appear.

Responsibilities

An ideal candidate would be someone with both agency and production experience. While producing great content is a must, we place a premium on the ability to deliver excellent client service. The successful candidate must be comfortable advising Fortune 500 clients on a strategic / creative level. They must be able to problem solve on behalf of the client and offer solutions that go above and beyond their expectations. The client must feel like they are in a safe pair of hands.

Our clients are all multinational firms or companies that are the leader in their industry ranging from finance to hospitality. You will be the point of contact from brief to delivery.

1-3 years experience working in short form content creation.

Experience line managing and / or budgeting for projects in the 5-6 figure range.

The ability to edit pitch decks, scripts, and generally contribute to creative development.

Physical production experience that includes set management and some directing.

Must have knowledge of post production scheduling and workflows.

Preferably some familiarity with 2D animation workflows.

Ability to manage client, freelancer, and vendor relationships.

Show an understanding of the strategic value of video within corporate communications.

What you’ll actually do

Take briefs from clients.

Respond with proposals, treatments, and costs.

Take projects into production as point of contact for the client.

Organize shoots / crew / post production resource.

Line produce on set.

Maintain creative responsibility for a project.

Regularly review budgets across all projects and take steps to stem overspend.

Pitch for prospective projects.

This is a role that allows for some remote working. Candidates must be LA based and able to reach our West Hollywood office multiple times a week.
