Position Summary :
Provides clinical mental health services to children and families in an outpatient community mental health clinic, client homes, or community-based locations such as schools. Responsibilities include case management and assisting with mental health treatment services such as intakes, diagnosis, and therapy under the supervision of an appropriately credentialed supervisor.
Work Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 : 00am-5 : 00pm, choosing two days to work 10 : 00am- 7 : 00pm
Responsibilities :
- Provide culturally sensitive treatment to children, families, and adults using Evidence Based Practices
- Complete required documentation within the identified timeframes
- Assist in the development of clinical treatment plans which focus on client strengths, culture, needs, and goals within the briefest time frame for successful achievement.
- Maintain encounters / productivity of 60% of reportable / billable services
- Participate in ongoing Continuous Quality Improvement to ensure that services provided demonstrate best practice standards and meet all contractual requirements
- Actively participate in individual and group supervision, clinical staff meetings, and other multi-disciplinary meetings
- Staff cases which require specialist consultations and psychiatric consultation as required
- Coordinate client treatment with schools, physicians, and other community resources and make referrals to community services whenever necessary
- Observe confidentiality in all related program functions with staff and families
- Establish and maintain working relationships with other community mental health providers, primary care, and other referral sources
- Provide routine services and on-call coverage outside of standard business hours if required by assigned program or team
- Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements :
This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring low physical exertion, talking and hearing on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 80% of the time. Position also requires ability to drive with adequate vision.

Education
Bachelor's degree in a social science and currently enrolled in a master's degree in an accredited program in social work, counseling, marriage & family therapy or closely related field requiredExperience

Wage Range : $25.50-$29.50 per hour, depending on experience
