Commercial Counsel

A company is looking for a Commercial Lawyer for a part-time contract position.

Key Responsibilities

Review, draft, and negotiate vendor and procurement contracts to ensure compliance with legal standards

Provide legal advice on contract terms, identifying risks and suggesting mitigations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide strategic legal guidance

Required Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership

3-5+ years of experience in commercial contract law, focusing on vendor and procurement agreements

Experience with data privacy laws and regulations, including Data Processing Agreements (DPAs)

Strong understanding of contract law and procurement processes

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting
